The Booneville City Board of Aldermen approved updates and improvements for Wyninegar Road during its July meeting, according to city officials.
The new speed limit on Wyninegar Road will be 30 mph, and the weight limit has been set at 57,600 pounds. Additionally, new signage will be installed to inform drivers of these changes.
City officials advised residents and travelers to be cautious, especially in residential areas where hidden driveways may pose hazards. Drivers are encouraged to reduce speed and stay alert while on Wyninegar Road, officials said.
The updates aim to enhance safety for residents and motorists using the roadway, the city added.
