Northeast Mississippi Community College earns five MACCC Academic Team of the Year awards
Northeast Mississippi Community College has broken its previous record by earning five MACCC Academic Team of the Year awards, the college announced.
The awards recognize excellence in academics among athletic teams. The collegeβs womenβs golf, men’s and women’s cross country, baseball, and women’s basketball teams all led the state in GPA, according to NEMCC officials.
NEMCC’s baseball team was among the winners, highlighting the school’s commitment to academic achievement across multiple sports. College officials celebrated the accomplishment as a testament to student-athletes’ dedication both on and off the field.
