Northeast Mississippi Community College employees returned from summer break Monday for its annual In-Service training, focusing on leadership and service. The event was led by college President Ford, who shared this year’s theme, “Leadership from Within,” highlighting that leadership exists in every role and act of service, according to college sources.
Jeff Toister, a keynote speaker, challenged staff to identify hidden obstacles that can hinder outstanding service. The college expressed gratitude for its staff, who help create a welcoming environment for students and staff alike.
The college plans to reopen for in-person classes on Aug. 12, marking the start of the new academic year. Northeast Mississippi Community College officials are optimistic about the upcoming semester and are eager to welcome students back to campus.
