Andie Kate Ramey of North East Mississippi Community College had a standout performance on the second day of the NJCAA South District Tournament. She posted a 71, the lowest round of the tournament so far, which helped her move up to third place on the leaderboard.
Ramey’s strong showing contributed to her team’s overall effort at the event. Fellow NEMCC golfer Maggie McElhaney also competed well, finishing the tournament with a two-day total of 185 strokes.
The tournament was held at a venue in the South District, with players competing for spots in the upcoming NJCAA national championships. Ramey’s performance garnered praise from her coaches and teammates.
