Dallas Payne has been named the new running backs and tight ends coach at Northeast Mississippi Community College.
Payne previously played at Northeast, where he was an all-conference receiver and helped lead the team to a division runner-up finish in 2020, according to the college.
He finished his playing career at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Florida International University, both football programs, the college said.
Payne’s hiring marks a return to Northeast Mississippi Community College, where he previously played and now joins the coaching staff, the school added.
