Dallas Payne has joined the coaching staff at Northeast Mississippi Community College, returning to his hometown to begin his coaching career. Payne, a former all-conference wide receiver for the Tigers in 2020, played four years at the NCAA Division I level.
Payne previously played collegiately at Northeast, UAB, and Florida International University. He will serve as the tight ends and running backs coach, according to the collegeโs announcement.
NEMCC officials said Payneโs experience as a player at multiple levels will benefit the team. His return marks a significant milestone for the collegeโs coaching staff and program development.
