Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Full-Time Dispatcher at $15 an Hour

The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time day shift dispatcher, with a pay rate of $15 an hour, according to a department news release.

Interested applicants can pick up an application in person at the sheriff’s office or download it from the department’s website at http://www.prentisscountymssheriff.com/plugins/show_image.php?id=593 by clicking the application printout link. The application is also available through the department’s mobile patrol app.

Applicants must submit a copy of their birth certificate, a recent photograph, and have the application notarized in multiple places. Those who have previously applied are encouraged to update their applications.

Full-time employment includes benefits such as health insurance and state retirement through the Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS), the department said.
