Roadwork will begin Monday, June 1, on North Second Street and South Second Street in the area between Chambers and Cedar Drive, according to local authorities. The work will take place nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and is expected to last about three to four weeks.
In addition, milling and paving operations will be conducted on Highway 145. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through these areas, as delays are possible. The police department urged drivers to remain alert for workers and equipment during the construction period.
Officials thanked the public for their patience and cooperation as crews work to improve road conditions in the area.
