Baldwyn High Students Visit University of North Alabama

Members of Baldwyn High School’s junior and senior classes visited the University of North Alabama in Florence on Tuesday. The students, many interested in healthcare careers, received information about the university’s programs and financial aid options.

During the visit, students toured the university’s simulation rooms in the nursing department. They also learned that many hospital beds in the simulation labs were sourced from the set of the television show “Grey’s Anatomy,” according to a school spokesperson.

Students expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity to learn more about higher education and healthcare careers, with some noting the potential for out-of-state tuition waivers for qualified students, UNA officials said.
