Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks staff will be at two events this weekend to connect with outdoor enthusiasts. The staff will be at the Mississippi Sports and Outdoors Show at the Trade Mart Center and the Mississippi Wildlife Extravaganza at the Clyde Muse Center.
Attendees are encouraged to visit booths to meet biologists, law enforcement officers, conservation educators, and state park ambassadors. Participants can ask questions and learn more about Mississippi’s outdoor resources.
The Mississippi Sports and Outdoors Show runs from July 24 to July 26 at the Trade Mart Center. The Mississippi Wildlife Extravaganza is scheduled for the same dates at the Clyde Muse Center.
Officials hope these events will promote awareness and appreciation of Mississippi’s natural environment, officials said.
