Two Arrested in Prentiss County for Drug Possession after Car Sitting at Dollar General
Prentiss County deputies responded to a report of a vehicle found at Dollar General in Cairo on July 15, 2026, with the occupants passed out inside, according to sheriff’s officials.
Deputies Ethan Hester and Paul Phillips arrived to find a red car with two people inside. The driver was identified as Jason Heavener, 41, of Corinth, and the passenger was Tiffany Flynt, 34, of Iuka.
Heavener was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, specifically crack cocaine. Flynt was charged with possession of methamphetamine, authorities said.
Prentiss County Justice Court Judge Ray Hall set bonds at $10,000 each. North Mississippi Narcotics Agent Grady Smith will present the case to the next grand jury, officials added.
