Baldwyn Kindergarten Class Practices Letter and Number Writing
Students in Mrs. Raines’s kindergarten class at Baldwyn Elementary took part in a hands-on activity to practice writing letters and numbers. The class used shaving cream to write the letters M and S, focusing on these during the week, according to school sources.
In addition to letter work, students have been practicing identifying and writing numbers one through 10. The activities align with curriculum standards for early literacy and numeracy, including standard L.K.1a.
The interactive lesson aimed to engage students and reinforce their understanding of basic letter and number recognition, school officials said.
