Two suspects wanted in officer-involved shooting in Mount Olive, Mississippi
Mount Olive, Mississippi — Authorities have arrested Cortavious Lawayne Hobbs and Cortavion Dewayne Hobbs after they were wanted in connection with an officer-involved shooting on June 8. The suspects were located and taken into custody without further incident, according to police.
The shooting occurred around 3:38 p.m. in the 200 block of South Bluff Street, Mount Olive, Covington County. Police described both suspects as armed and dangerous and urged the public to call 911 if they saw either man or observed suspicious activity.
Cortavious Hobbs is described as an 18-year-old black male, wearing a black hoodie, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Cortavion Hobbs is listed as a 19-year-old black male, wearing a camouflage hoodie, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
