Baldwyn High School senior Addison Wilson spent time shadowing at Companion Animal Care Center in Saltillo, Mississippi, according to a social media post from the school.
Wilson said her experience helped develop her interest in veterinary technology. She assisted staff with tasks such as sweeping floors and changing cat litter, she added.
Wilson also expressed admiration for the work being done at the center, noting that watching animals get spayed was particularly impactful. Her post included hashtags related to her school community.
