Sheriffs Department and CrimeStoppers looking for help on stolen car worth quarter of a million dollars

The Prentiss county sheriffs department and crime stopper of Northeast Mississippi are asking for the publics help locating a stolen vehicle.

The vehicle is worth $250,000 according to Crimestoppers.

From the release:

The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department and NE MS Crime Stoppers need the public’s help locating the person(s) responsible for the following incident.

On Saturday April 17th, 2021 possibly around 11:00 P.M. a shop was broken into on CR 1290 in the Tuscumbia Community in Prentiss County, MS. A witness describes seeing an early 2000’s model black Chevy Silverado either extended cab or 4 door, 4×4 with a white enclosed car hauler trailer parked on CR 1290 near CR 1371 around 10:30 P.M.

The witness seen two males, about 6 foot tall, and heavy set, dressed in all black standing outside the truck.

A fully restored 1971 rally red 2 door Plymouth Barracuda with a 426 Hemi motor was stolen from the shop. It has a Wisconsin tag displayed on it. The car is valued at $250,000.00.

The pictures attached, are the actual vehicle as it looks now. Also stolen was a Cobra Surveillance system DVR. Anyone with any information on this crime is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers @ 800-773-TIPS or download the P3 Tip App and leave an anonymous tip that way.
