Booneville man indicted on charges of secretly photographing minor
A Booneville man has been indicted on felony charges related to secretly photographing or videoing a minor for lewd purposes, according to court records.
Jason Carroll McCoy, 45, was indicted by a Prentiss County grand jury on two counts of secretly photographing or videoing a child under age 16 in a place where the person would expect privacy and be undressed, authorities said.
The indictment followed an investigation led by Investigator Torie Jumper, with assistance from Investigator Aaron Stolz.
Following the indictment, the Prentiss County Circuit Court set McCoy’s bond at $30,000.00.
The case remains under investigation and has been scheduled for further court proceedings, authorities said.
