IOKA, Miss. — A Mississippi man was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday for selling methamphetamine.
Circuit Court Judge Kelly Mims sentenced Shawn Weaver, 49, after he pleaded guilty to the charge of sale of methamphetamine. The sentencing took place in the Circuit Court of Tishomingo County, according to court records.
The District Attorney’s Office credited the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics for their investigation. Assistant District Attorney Clay Cummings prosecuted the case on behalf of the state.
Jason D. Herring, district attorney for the First Circuit Court District, announced the sentence.
